The Communications Manager plays a key role in advancing WelbeHealth’s mission through clear, compassionate, and strategic communications, helping shape and execute communications across internal and external channels including participant communications, media relations, internal campaigns, webinars, newsletters, blogs, and other high-impact initiatives.
The Communications Manager also supports integrated marketing and communications efforts that strengthen brand awareness, community engagement, participant education, and organizational growth across digital and traditional platforms. On the day-to-day, you will: Lead content strategy and production for a recurring webinar series in partnership with internal subject matter experts, including scripting, webinar platform enablement, RSVP management, and post-event communications Manage the development and distribution of a monthly newsletter, coordinating with internal departments to tailor for varied channels and audiences Oversee weekly blog and editorial calendar, sourcing stories and engaging contributors to highlight participant stories, thought leadership, and care innovations Develop and support growth-oriented communications such as press releases, media statements, event promotion, and brand campaigns, as well as collaborate with Growth and Market Operations teams to support center openings, partnerships, and local engagement efforts Support integrated marketing and communications campaigns across internal, external, digital, and community-facing channels to advance organizational priorities and audience engagement Support crafting culturally sensitive, health-literate, participant-facing materials across multiple formats including SMS, flyers, and digital platforms Support participant communication initiatives, including the development and coordination of participant-facing letters, educational materials, operational updates, and multichannel outreach in alignment with health literacy and brand standards Job
Requirements
include: Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field preferred; an additional two (2) or more years of relevant professional experience may be substituted Minimum of five (5) years of experience in communications, public affairs, or marketing (healthcare experience preferred) Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats (newsletters, blogs, press materials, speeches, etc.) Experience with SharePoint, Canva, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), and Smartsheet Experience independently producing content and managing cross-functional projects such as webinars and newsletters Familiarity with integrated marketing communications, digital engagement strategies, and evolving communications technologies preferred Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools and em
