We’re hiring a Welder I at our Corporate Headquarters in Moberly, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
The Welder will set up, operate, and support manual MIG/TIG welding stations and robotic welding cells to produce high-quality steel components in a safe and efficient manner. Will use related equipment including manual plasma cutters, cutting torches, hydraulic presses, precision drills, and various hand tools for metal preparation and finishing.
Requirements
Forklifts, jib, and overhead cranes used for material handling and the transport of heavy weldments.
: Must be able to lift 50 lbs without assistance Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a space that lacks climate control.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality MIG welding on steel components, consistently achieving deep penetration and clean, professional beads. Set up and tack weld assemblies using fixtures and jigs. Remove burrs, slag, and spatter using manual grinding and sanding tools to ensure a high-quality finished surface.
Operate manual and semi-automatic cutting and pre-heating torches, as well as manual plasma cutters to prep materials for production. Operate manual drilling press using fixtures to accurately locate drilled features. Safely operate forklifts to transport raw materials and completed weldments throughout the facility.

Qualifications
e. HAAS Okuma) Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent Education At least 2+ years experience as a production worker or similar role in a manufacturing environment or technical degree in machining.
