Anduril Industries — Washington District of Columbia
S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold.
Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Software Platform team at Anduril is dedicated to building the products and systems that empower our engineering teams to develop, test, and deploy cutting-edge defense technology with unparalleled efficiency and reliability. We design and implement sophisticated automated systems that enhance efficiency, reduce manual labor, and optimize critical processes and control systems across our software development lifecycle and production pipelines. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, traceability, and rapid deployment of our software solutions, directly contributing to our mission of delivering advanced autonomous systems.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Anduril's Continuous Integration platform enables every engineering team at Anduril to build, test, and deploy our products globally. When it is slow or unreliable, every team downstream pays for it - but when it's reliable and zippy, life is awesome. In this role you will ensure awesomeness; you will help build and deliver fully automated, faster and more reliable CI pipelines that lets teams ship without breaking the teams next to them.
This role directly supports and enables a critical business line, so your first focus is the functional and operational improvements that most directly speed up their build, test, and deployment experience. The work you do will compound across other products as well. You will deliver against a shared roadmap, own concrete epics end to end, and instrument the metrics that show whether the CI experience is actually getting better.
You will work across a complex delivery ecosystem, multi-stage release pipelines and Cloud and Robot environments, where correctness has measurable consequences. If you like building the infrastructure other engineers depend on, and doing it on systems that ship real defense technology, this is the role for you!
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated build, test, and deployment software across multiple enclaves. Collaborate and partner with software engineers to optimize the build and test processes, reduce deployment friction, and integrate security controls early in the development lifecycle.
Requirements
Create monitoring and logging infrastructure to validate support security operations, troubleshooting, and incident response.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar Proficiency in a variety of programming languages such as Python, C++, and Rust. Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code using Crossplane, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar tools.
Working knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm). Understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and scripting (Python, Bash).
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience deploying and maintaining systems in classified DoD or
