Professional Level The Graphic Designer aligns as an L2 Consultant position at 9th Way Insignia. The position supports the VA Office of Academic Affiliations Data Management Center (DMC) on a part-time, level-of-effort basis not to exceed 250 hours per year. This role designs and implements accessible, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for OAA applications and platforms.

NET Core C# and Microsoft Power Platform environment.

Requirements

Maintain visual consistency and design standards across the OAA application portfolio. Support wireframing, site diagrams, and site maps in coordination with the Business Analyst. Remediate accessibility findings in existing UI and graphic assets.

Manage assigned work within an annual level of effort not to exceed 250 hours.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. No equivalencies or substitutions for the degree requirement will be accepted. Four (4) or more years of experience as a graphic designer focusing on user-centered design and accessibility.

Proficiency in Bootstrap, jQuery, and centralized CSS files. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. 0 AA standards.

Ability to work effectively on a part-time, task-based level of effort. Must have resided continuously in the United States for the past 36 months. S.

Citizenship required. Preferred/Desired Section 508 Compliance certifications or formal accessibility training.
