ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will have a design/technical focus and be a member of our multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with design and technical leadership and will be an integral part of project teams. 0+ million square foot healthcare facility at Mayo Clinic’s campus.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Independently and under limited direction, contribute as part of a multi-disciplinary team; design, selection, coordination and architectural detailing. Prepare and contribute to design and presentation efforts utilizing Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, and other programs as required. Independently develop and manage the REVIT model to produce plans, elevations, and sections.
With limited direction, produce REVIT section and plan details within all architectural phases. Prepare preliminary design sketches of small to moderate-sized site plans. Communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
Assist in the development of design and concept drawings. Assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers. May take on a leadership role within the team on a particular project issue or topic.
Review shop drawing submittals with some guidance from the Project Architect. May attend field site inspections, which frequently involves a physical walk-through of the site. Attend and actively participate in project team meetings Perform other duties as assigned.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required. Minimum 4 years of related professional experience required. Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
Must be able to participate the development of projects' technical or design characteristics and content. Strong creative design portfolio is essential as are strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects. Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
Professional business attire is required for all client meetings. Examples of professional business attire include suits, ties, collared dress shirts, dresses, and skirts. Travel required.
The salary range for this position is $64,165 to $80,155 annually. This is the anticipated salary range at the time of posting .
Compensation
may vary based on candidate's geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage as well as flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances.
