What You’Ll Do

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, following microservices architecture patterns . Model and evolve relational data stores, write performant SQL, and manage schema migrations in production environments . Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs, applying versioning, contract testing, and clear integration patterns .

Deploy, operate , and troubleshoot services on AWS, working with compute (EC2, ECS, EKS, or Lambda), managed databases (RDS), storage (S3), messaging (SQS, SNS), and observability tooling (CloudWatch) . Implement observability practices across services: structured logging, metrics, tracing, and actionable alerting . Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor mid - and junior engineers on backend and cloud best practices .

Collaborate with architects to contribute to solution design decisions and technical documentation . Debug, profile, and optimize performance at the service, database, and infrastructure level . Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment automation .

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement) . Communicate delivery status, technical risks, and blockers effectively to team leads and client stakeholders . What makes you a great fit 🎯 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or a related field.

5 + Years of backend software engineering experience . 3+ Years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem (Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Cloud) . Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11 or later), with a solid understanding of the JVM, concurrency, and modern language features .

Proven experience designing, building, and operating microservices in production . Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent), including data modelling , indexing, and query optimization .
