Position Overview The Rad Tech is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform radiologic procedures for a specified patient population. This role ensures quality imaging services while adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies. Qualifications

Education Experience Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT. T. (R) ARRT.

State license in accordance with regulations in the state where work is performed. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (required for all new hires and transfers). T.

(R) (ARRT) within one year of graduation from an approved program. Skills Abilities Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures. Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers.

Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred as stated in source).
