The Program Manager for Strategic Systems is responsible for the leadership and execution of Voyager’s portfolio of programs across solid rocket motors, chemicals, and explosives, in conjunction with the chief engineer or lead engineer. The position reports to the General Manager, Voyager Energetics and is part of the leadership team based in Pueblo and Penrose, CO.
This role is onsite in Pueblo and Penrose, CO OR hybrid for highly qualified candidates.
Requirements
Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and government agencies, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives. Monitor and project budgets/financials, ensuring adherence to financial targets and cost management throughout the project lifecycle. Manage and communicate scope changes, ensuring alignment with program goals and customer expectations.
Travel up to 30%, including the possibility of overnights, to customer sites, industry conferences, and program reviews. S. S.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or management (or equivalent experience) 10 years of experience in project or supply chain management and operations Experience managing defense or government projects Experience negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, or customers Experience with project management software to manage schedules and budgets Travel, Physical, and Government Mandated
