Position Overview PINE Advisor Solutions is seeking an Associate to join our Operations Support Services team. This individual will support PINE’s clients with their meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. As a critical member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for providing operational support services to PINE's clients, primarily focusing on hedge funds, exchange-traded products (ETPs), and asset managers.
Your daily tasks will include managing trade operations, overseeing reporting procedures, conducting portfolio rebalancing, executing foreign exchange hedging activities, and ensuring accurate cash and position reconciliations. Responsibilities
Nurture multiple client relationships. Conduct daily cash and position reconciliations for various hedge funds and asset managers. Spearhead the research and resolution of trade breaks for hedge funds and asset managers, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
Provide comprehensive ETF/ETP operational support, including: Managing creations and redemptions by coordinating with authorized participants and custodians. Performing real-time trade monitoring to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies. Executing trade reconciliation and break resolution across counterparties and service providers.
Supporting fund launches by coordinating setup activities and operational readiness across internal and external stakeholders. Monitor portfolios against target allocations and allocate trades across multiple funds. Maintain communication channels with portfolio managers, traders, and other key stakeholders.
Compile 13F filings and submit them to EDGAR on behalf of clients.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential Previous asset management or pooled vehicle experience a plus Demonstrated ability to identify risks and control gaps in processes and successfully delivering process improvement Passion for delivering exceptional client experience Strong organizational skills with attention to deadlines Proficient in the use of MS Office: exceptional skills with Excel are essential Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Required: SIE certification within the first 3 months of hire. Required: Series 7 certification within the first 6 months of hire.
