Key Responsibilities

Conduct NEPA impact analyses for a wide range of public projects and develop the appropriate level of NEPA documentation. , biological assessments). When needed, oversee the preparation of NEPA documents prepared by subconsultants and provide QA/QC for deliverables.

Collaborates with Project Managers, Project Teams, clients, and other stakeholders to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution.

Provide technical support for environmental permitting processes. Focus on physical and/or social resources, including assessment of impacts on soil, geology, or land/marine use.

Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, geology, planning, or similar. Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of NEPA experience, or comparable writing and document development experience.

Basic understanding of NEPA and the intersection of NEPA with other environmental laws such as the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Historical Preservation Act. Ability to effectively manage time to meet deliverable targets and deadlines, work well under time constraints, balance multiple priorities, and track progression of various documents concurrently. Excellent research, analytical, writing, oral communication and organizational skills.
