What You’Ll Do
As a member of the central Cloud Operations team, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and applications, primarily within AWS. This is an engineering-focused role where you'll help shape the future cloud landscape of the organization by implementing modern, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, manage, administer, and automate enterprise cloud infrastructure services and solutions. Engineer cloud solutions for new and migrated applications, ensuring alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery and infrastructure deployment.
Create and manage golden AMIs, patch management solutions, and infrastructure monitoring capabilities. Continuously review cloud security controls and recommend improvements to enhance security posture and compliance. Partner with technology teams to support their cloud transformation initiatives and adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Ensure cloud environments include appropriate governance, controls, auditing, and compliance mechanisms. Define and implement operational capabilities required to proactively monitor, manage, and optimize production environments. Identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement to maintain highly available, fault-tolerant systems.
What You’ll Bring to the Table Technical Skills Capabilities Strong scripting and automation skills using Python (preferred), Bash, or PowerShell. Hands-on experience with a broad range of AWS services and cloud-native technologies. Experience with AWS networking and security services including: IAM KMS Route 53 (DNS) Load Balancers Shield WAF GuardDuty Security Hub Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and practices.
Experience building and maintaining DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
