Career Team is looking to hire an Intake Eligibility Specialist who will serve as the first point of contact for jobseekers and community members entering workforce services.
Requirements
Work is performed under the supervision of the Program Manager.
Schedule appointments and refer eligible participants to the appropriate Career Advisor or program Provide clear information to applicants regarding program services,
, and next steps Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations related to eligibility documentation Support orientation sessions and other group presentations for new participants Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in handling participant information Complete all required reports within the data management system Approach each day and task with a “ZAG” mindset Other duties and projects as needed This position is expected to be a HYBRID position. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite as well as remotely.
with accuracy Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources Must be computer literate with MS Word and Excel skills at minimum, and the ability to learn specialized databases and software systems Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, and organizational skills, with strong oral and written communication A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality A Valid Driver's License Additional Skills/Knowledge Career Team Would Love for This Role: Bilingual or multilingual Knowledge of WIOA, TANF, and SNAP eligibility
