What You’Ll Do

Your engineering ingenuity, wonder magic in coming up with a powertrain that supports the concepts will be instrumental in shaping the perception of Scout as a brand, as well as gaining peer admiration in the automotive industry. Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Assist in the development of the powertrain and drive system integration for Scout all-electric pick-up trucks and rugged SUVs Contribute to engineering best practices and share knowledge within the team Review software functions and identify gaps or improvement opportunities within assigned feature scope Execute and coordinate drive system integration and testing plans within defined system architecture and program objectives Collaborate with concept architects, calibration, and testing teams to provide technical input and support issue resolution Coordinate prototype and serial development activities within the assigned REEV feature scope, including software availability, partner alignment, and test planning Partner with other concept systems architect teams to come up with solution to engineering functional challenges Hands-on prototyping and building capability, from initial operation to coordinating and implementing software Be involved other related tasks / activities as required Independently manage assigned REEV feature scope, with work reviewed at key integration and release milestones Location Travel Expectations : This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, Michigan. This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
