As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll help create an exceptional client experience while supporting hospital efficiency and patient flow. Client Care and Customer Service Welcome clients and patients with warmth, empathy, and professionalism Answer multi-line phones while appropriately prioritizing urgent and emergency calls Schedule appointments and coordinate emergency walk-in arrivals Accurately obtain patient histories, client information, and medical records Communicate treatment updates and next steps with compassion and professionalism Hospital Operations Coordinate patient flow between the reception and medical teams Process invoices, estimates, payments, and financial transactions accurately Support prescription refill requests and food or medication pickups Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records Help ensure smooth daily workflow throughout the hospital Team Collaboration Work closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, assistants, and leadership Maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized reception area Support fellow team members during busy emergency periods Adapt to changing caseloads while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented attitude This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships while remaining calm and organized in a fast-moving emergency hospital.
