Technicians are the backbone of our hospital, supporting doctors, advocating for patients, and ensuring that every visit reflects our mission: Fear Free care for pets and their people. This role offers the opportunity to expand technical skills, build confidence in clinical procedures, and contribute meaningfully to a workplace built on grace, respect, and teamwork. Our technicians rotate through exam, treatment, and surgical areas to maintain variety and balanced workload.

Responsibilities
Patient Care Technical Excellence Perform and assist with technical procedures including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia induction/monitoring, intubation, and surgical preparation. Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, polishing, charting, and obtain digital dental radiographs. Collect and prepare samples (blood, urine, fecal, ear/skin cytology, fine-needle aspirates) for in-house or reference lab analysis.
Perform diagnostic imaging, including full-body and dental radiographs, and support ultrasound procedures as directed. Monitor and record vital signs, anesthetic depth, and recovery progress for surgical and hospitalized patients. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments accurately, maintaining safety and compliance with DEA and hospital protocols Assist in hospitalized patient care including IV fluid administration, bandage changes, wound care, and nutritional support.
Client Care Communication Support client education by explaining treatment plans, preventive care, nutrition, and at-home instructions clearly and empathetically. Foster trust and rapport with clients, ensuring a positive and supportive experience at every visit. Collaborate with the Client Service Team to promote smooth communication and seamless workflow between front and back of house.
Hospital Support Team Collaboration Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in all clinical and exam areas.
