This Systems Engineer position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the reliability, performance, and availability of enterprise network, server, and virtualization environments in a secure federal setting. The role supports Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere/Horizon, and network monitoring tools while troubleshooting system issues, responding to alerts, and delivering exceptional customer support. Candidates should have extensive experience with Windows and VMware technologies, a Top Secret clearance, and a strong ability to implement and support IT infrastructure solutions both on-premises and in cloud environments.

What You’Ll Do
: Evaluate, maintain, and improve network reliability, availability and performance Maintain and respond to alerts from network monitoring tools such as InterMapper, ManageEngine, and vROPS Work with server and virtualization infrastructure and technologies. Interface with customers to resolve system related issues while providing world class IT and customer service. What you’ll need to succeed: An active Top-Secret security clearance and the ability to commute to work at our customer site in Arlington, VA.
6 years of experience provisioning, installing, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server and VMware 6 years of experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory domains, VDI, VMware vSphere, and VMware Horizon. Experience using system monitoring tools such as InterMapper and vROPS (ManageEngine experience a plus). An understanding of working in a secure federal environment and a strong willingness to learn new technology and grow your expertise.
