What You'Ll Do

Partner with leadership to develop and enhance underwriting programs, products, pricing, and coverage strategies Analyze market trends, agency performance, and underwriting results to recommend profitable business actions Review complex referrals, renewals, and escalated underwriting decisions while ensuring adherence to company guidelines Lead the development of underwriting procedures, manuals, and workflow improvements to enhance operational effectiveness Support system enhancements, testing initiatives, and continuous process improvement efforts Coach, mentor, and develop underwriting staff while promoting quality, consistency, and performance excellence What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of P C policy-level underwriting experience 3+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience Strong knowledge of personal lines underwriting, risk selection, and insurance/reinsurance structures Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound underwriting decisions Strong communication and relationship-building skills across internal and external partners Desire to live Slide's Core Values What Slide Offers To You The Slide Vibe - An opportunity to be a part of a fun and innovation-driven culture fueled by Passion, Purpose and Technology!
