Michels Trenchless Pty Ltd — Melbourne, Florida
About Ferocia We're the team behind Up , but under the hood, we're Ferocia - a passionate tech company driven by financial inclusion. Since 2011, we've been crafting innovative financial tools, starting with the digital platform for Bendigo Bank. We believe technology can empower everyone, from the advantaged to the disadvantaged, which is why Up was born.
Now, as part of the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank family, we combine the agility of a small company with the reach and stability of a major player. Together, we're carbon neutral , community-focused , and dedicated to high standards of corporate governance . Our mission?
To leverage technology to help Australians move from financial stress and anxiety to a place of confidence and empowerment. Want to join us? We'd love to hear from you!
The role We’re looking for Platform Engineers at different levels to join us at Ferocia (Bendigo Bank Digital Division) as we grow two of Australia’s most loved banks (Up and Bendigo Bank). You will be part of a small, close knit platform engineering team with six engineers and one engineering manager. The Up platform runs in GCP and is built entirely using terraform, with the ability to provision a brand new production environment in a matter of hours so we expect a high level of quality and adherence to industry best practice.
Our engineers deploy to production multiple times a day so maintaining the CI pipeline in good working order is also an essential function of the role. Bendigo Bank is a multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, and on-prem) collection of systems(both microservices and legacy systems) and we are in the process of migrating/rebuilding the infrastructure using the same patterns as Up with the goal of getting to 100% infrastructure as code and eliminating any manual processes.
