Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country. Description Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer who shall be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing GitLab Runners, and advancing automation practices to improve software delivery speed, quality, and reliability. In this position, the Software Engineer must be proficient with Git, GitLab, and DevOps principles and concepts.

, and translating them into automated workflows Strong understanding of core DevOps practices, including environment promotion workflows, artifact storage and versioning, and securing CI/CD pipelines Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks including Ansible Proficiency with Git source control, branching strategies, merge request workflows, and repository management Desired Skills: Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) Knowledge of configuration management, secrets management, and secure credential handling within Ci/CD pipelines Familiarity with Agile development practices and supporting SAFe Agile teams with automation This position is open for direct hires only. Minimum Qualifications
: Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Benefits
