Stratolaunch is seeking a hands-on Carrier Aircraft Crew Chief (Boeing 777) to lead the Aircraft Maintenance Team in the efficient execution of the work scope performed to the aircraft; maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspections, and alterations. You will be responsible for ensuring all work performed on the aircraft meets established quality and airworthiness standards.

You will work together with Engineering and Program Management to understand the program constraints, including cost and scheduling. This position will work directly with the Maintenance Manager, Engineering, Management, Manufacturing, and Test Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the Boeing carrier aircraft is maintained in an airworthiness condition in accordance with Boeing AMM, SRM, LUMP inspection plans, and other technical data. Ability to travel with the aircraft outside of the contiguous United States (OCONUS) for durations up to 6 weeks at a time, up to 3 times per year. Provide daily updates to Ground Ops Manager on daily tasking completed, issues, concerns and assist in schedule impact mitigations.

Requirements

Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) on aircraft systems and maintenance procedures such as, pre- and post-flight inspections, flight controls, landing gear, electrical, avionics, and propulsion systems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of transport category aircraft maintenance experience (Boeing 777 or widebody preferred) Have demonstrated work experience on Boeing widebody aircraft systems such as fuel, pneumatics, hydraulics, flight controls, engines, landing gears, etc.
