About The Role

This position will work in office 5 days per week. The Account Manager II is an individual contributor role that is responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience, serving as the first line of contact for our customers. They are responsible for ensuring all freight is serviced to meet/exceed the customer’s standards, while also communicating customer needs and changes to the operations teams.

They are expected to develop and maintain customer relationships, while achieving company defined operational metrics. What the Candidate Will Do Secure Capacity for Load Contact carrier to obtain status of load tendered; continue monitoring the shipment status and updating in the system, then notifying the shipper and/or Receiver and rescheduling when necessary Set-up New Locations (Shippers/Receivers); and/or Set-up new vendors Upload vendor profile sheet, assign vendor code, contact vendor to determine shipping dates, hours or operations, etc.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent 1-3 years of experience Must be open to working 5 days in office

Preferred Qualifications

Completed College degree Transportation/Logistics experience Knowledge of Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace
