Role Description We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of landlord-tenant, habitability, or related litigation experience to join our growing California team. This role is ideal for an attorney who has experience handling housing-related disputes, habitability claims, premises liability matters, or general civil litigation matters and is looking to further develop their litigation practice. Candidates throughout California are encouraged to apply.
What You’Ll Do
: Handle landlord-tenant, habitability, and related civil litigation matters throughout California Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, case evaluations, and client correspondence Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on California housing, habitability, and civil litigation issues Represent clients in court hearings, case management conferences, mediations, and other litigation proceedings both remotely and in person Assist with depositions, witness preparation, and trial preparation Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective case strategies
What We’Re Looking For
: At least 1 year of landlord-tenant, habitability, or related litigation experience Active California bar admission required in good standing.
