(NASDAQ – GS: TROW). com. Overview The Analyst will assist the FP A team with building and maintaining department budgets / forecasts for department leaders.
Ideally the candidate will have experience with budgeting and forecasting G A expenses.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with department leads to update department forecasts monthly. The Analyst will function as a business partner and resource for the department leads to help them manage their businesses and better understand their financial needs and objectives. Prepare detailed reporting by expense type and vendor to the department leads each The Analyst will monitor and analyze actual financial results against forecasts and will be able to identify and understand any variances.
Become a subject matter expert in all things related to G A expenses. Develop a deep understanding of our vendors and contracts and how they roll into the expense accounts. Be able to navigate and pull information from our vendor management system and General The Analyst will help ensure data accuracy and quality, by reviewing that the data is entered into the systems correctly.
and Ensure expenses are properly recorded, book correcting entries and accrue for any outstanding incurred expenses. Provide commentary on all variances by account and vendor and have a deep understanding of variance drivers. This will include actual vs.
forecast comparisons, as well as prior forecast vs. current forecast comparisons. The Analyst will develop an understanding of our various expense accounts, as well as a high-level understanding of our expense reimbursement process.
Support ad-hoc projects aimed at improving and streamlining processes, including reviewing the vendor management system for accuracy, enhancing reporting from the General Ledger (Oracle), and leveraging reporting tools such as PowerBI to improve report delivery to stakeholders.
Qualifications
