As an apprentice, you'll receive full training while gaining hands-on experience across a wide variety of buildings and construction environments.

No previous asbestos experience is required – we're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys practical work, and is keen to build a long-term career in a specialist industry. You'll spend time both on client sites and learning from experienced colleagues, gradually developing the knowledge and skills needed to carry out asbestos surveys, air monitoring, and compliance testing safely and professionally. Working alongside experienced asbestos professionals, you will learn to: Assist with asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across a variety of buildings.

Help set up ladders, access equipment and work areas safely. Open up building fabric under supervision to allow inspection for potential asbestos-containing materials. Safely take samples of suspected asbestos-containing materials following full training and strict procedures.

Label, record and organise asbestos samples accurately for laboratory analysis. Assist with air monitoring, reassurance testing and four-stage clearance procedures following asbestos removal works. Learn how to inspect work areas to ensure they meet strict safety and legal standards.

Record findings accurately using digital equipment and complete site documentation. Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and RPE. Travel to a variety of customer sites, working both indoors and outdoors in different environments.

Maintain equipment and ensure vehicles and work areas are kept clean, organised and ready for use. Please note: there will be significant travel required for this role. Please be aware of this when you apply.

You’re someone who prefers being out on site rather than behind a desk, and you’re comfortable working in environments like construction, demolition, or industrial settings. Early starts, travel, and changing locations don’t put you off — in fact, you enjoy the variety and the sense of purpose that comes with hands-on work. You take safety seriously and understand the importance of following procedures properly.

Working to strict rules, method statements, and risk assessments feels natural to you, and you don’t cut corners. You’re calm, focused, and able to stay composed even in regulated environments where inspections, audits, or oversight are part of the job. You’re practical by nature and learn best by doing.

Repetition and routine don’t bother you — you see them as part of building consistency and getting things right every time. You’re comfortable using equipment, following technical processes, and working in PPE or RPE for extended periods when required. You can work independently once trained, taking responsibility for your tasks, but you also communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors to make sure work is completed safely and correctly.
