WHAT YOU WILL DO
: As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Consultant, you will help our client design, implement, and support scalable cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure. This role combines hands-on engineering with architectural thinking, calling for an experienced consultant who can operate with a high degree of independence and bring sound technical judgment to complex cloud environments. You'll build modern, secure, and automated infrastructure that supports enterprise applications and services.
You will work across networking, compute, storage, and identity components to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions while leveraging infrastructure-as-code practices and CI/CD automation. In close collaboration with application teams, security, and operations, you will ensure that cloud environments are resilient, well-governed, and aligned with best practices. Your ability to integrate automation, enforce security controls, and optimize cloud architecture will be key to delivering production-ready solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
: Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure across compute, storage, networking, and identity services, driving design decisions independently Own end-to-end architecture of cloud environments that support both application and platform components Design and manage advanced Azure networking configurations, including virtual networks, private connectivity, DNS, and hybrid connectivity solutions Lead development of infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, including reusable modules and state management practices Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, establishing automation standards for infrastructure deployment Design and implement Azure governance frameworks, including policies, management groups, monitoring, and logging Drive cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, network segmentation, and secrets management Act as a consultative partner to cross-functional teams, shaping secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions rather than executing predefined tasks Proactively troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency YOUR EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience architecting and working within Microsoft Azure cloud environments, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and self-direct Proven track record as a consultative, solutions-first engineer who identifies problems and drives them to resolution without requiring detailed task assignment Deep expertise in Azure networking concepts, including private connectivity and hybrid networking patterns Demonstrated
