Scientist I, Analytical Development - Cell Based

Kriya is a biopharmaceutical company whose mission is to develop life-changing gene therapies for diseases affecting millions of patients around the world. We leverage our proprietary computational engine, in-house manufacturing infrastructure, and integrated design platform to engineer technologies and therapeutics with the potential to transform the treatment of a broad universe of diseases of high unmet need, with a focus on metabolic disorders, neurology, and ophthalmology. ” The Scientist I is responsible for independent method development, sample testing, and method qualification support for analytical methods for gene therapy products.

Key Responsibilities

Independently design, execute, and interpret studies for development and optimization of analytical methods for AAV products. Seek out and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decision-making. Author and review ELN entries and documents in support of analytical development activities, as needed.

Routinely execute test methods in support of process development and development vector characterization. Support Quality Control with qualification of analytical test methods and identify needs for release testing. Collaborate with other scientists and routinely present data.

Perform other job-related duties, as necessary. e. ELISA and activity assays), and/or ddPCR assays for AAV gene therapies and/or protein therapeutics.

State of the industry analytical knowledge. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Work Environment Primarily a laboratory setting.

May involve standing, sitting, and using laboratory equipment for extended periods. Some lifting of equipment or materials may be required. Work may involve exposure to chemicals or biological materials; proper handling and disposal procedures must be followed.

Must have flexible work hours and be willing to work outside of normal schedule hours, as necessary.
