Portakabin are looking for a Welder to join our Production department based in York.

Requirements

Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitated. 16ph • Role based: New Lane, York • Contract type: Permanent • Annual leave: 24 days of annual leave plus bank holidays • Welding within the Metal Fabrication Department ensuring all work areas are clean and tidy to achieve a safe working environment and an orderly standard.

• Reading drawings and Technical Specifications. • Work effectively as part of a team with all internal customers to ensure timescales for completing work are achieved and quality standards reached. • Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company Procedures/Policies relating to Health and Safety, inclusive of COSHH.

• Maintain accurate records of production, and other operational data required by Production Team Leader. g. ISO 9001 & 14001 are adhered to.

• Support continuous improvement to ensure the area is always looking at the best way to carry out a task.
