But behind the numbers is a team of passionate people working together to shape a smarter, more sustainable future. We started off in 2009 as Pod Point, helping people make the switch to electric as EVs began to hit the road.
Today, we’re leading the way into a smarter energy future. As part of the EDF family – the UK’s biggest generator of zero-carbon electricity – we have the strength and stability to grow for the future. And we’ve started that growth already.
In 2026, we welcomed EO Charging into the Pod family, bringing together Pod’s strengths in home, workplace, public and smart charging with EO’s specialist fleet and depot charging technology. The acquisition significantly expands our commercial fleet and energy management capabilities. Together, Pod and EO are helping logistics, transport and operational fleet customers electrify at scale, optimise charging performance and make better use of existing grid capacity.
