Requirements

Prepares daily reports, correspondence, change orders, periodic payment estimates, and quantity computations Observes details of work performed by others, documenting results; obtaining photographic documentation of work performed Confirms compliance with technical documents and industry-specific standards and codes Reviews and downloads field data into laptop computer and transfer to company server Discusses projects with project team on a daily basis Makes accurate judgment-calls on a variety of construction field activities Will work night shifts and weekends, as required Performs other like duties, as assigned Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering is preferred NICET Level III in Highway Construction certification is required ACI, TCC, CCTC, and NJSAT certifications required 5+ years of experience in heavy highway/bridge construction inspection Experience with NJDOT / NJTA projects required OSHA 10-hour safety course is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good time-management skills Ability to perform under pressure Good skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint A strong attention to detail is necessary Artheon offers a competitive
