Position overview As a Senior Manager, Supply Planning for Stanley, you are responsible for leading short‑ and long‑term supply planning for the EMEA region—developing buy strategies, optimizing inventory levels, projecting supply against varying demand, and driving continuous improvement across the planning network. You will run integrated planning processes (S OP/IBP), create and govern supply planning KPIs, and use data to guide decisions that improve service, revenue, and profitability.
You will engage cross‑functionally with Finance, Technology, Inventory Management, Fulfillment Operations/Logistics, Demand Planning, and Commercial/Sales to ensure integrated planning, smooth product availability, and successful new product introductions and transitions. You will also manage and develop a supply planning team, setting clear goals, building capability, and elevating team performance. This role reports to the Senior Director of Supply Chain.
What You'Ll Do
Lead integrated supply planning across EMEA and APAC, running S OP/IBP cycles, ensuring strong alignment with Demand Planning, Logistics, Commercial/Sales, and Finance. Develop and oversee buy plans at the part/SKU level using on‑hand inventory, forecasts, safety stock, lead times and variability, seasonality, and market factors. Own inventory health and right‑size stock across the EMEA and APAC warehousing network; segment the portfolio (SKU stratification) to prioritize actions and policies.
Set and maintain safety stock at the item level, applying seasonality, service targets, variability, and supplier performance to balance cost and service. Identify and mitigate supply–demand imbalances through quantitative analysis, scenario planning, and constraint management across the horizontal supply chain. Manage lead times and capacity with factory liaisons and fulfillment partners; provide accurate weekly/monthly production and replenishment plans that meet demand and partner needs.
Facilitate NPIs and transitions (new product introductions, EOL/discontinuations) in close partnership with Product Creation, Commercial/Sales, and Supply Chain. , inventory‑to‑sales ratio, inventory turns, fill rate, % active vs. non‑active inventory, weeks of supply), meeting or exceeding targets.
Run monthly supply reviews with Sales/Commercial to validate demand, reconcile supply, and elevate risks/opportunities with clear action plans. Highlight supply challenges early to the right stakeholders and work with factories/vendors to mitigate constraints and protect customer experience. Drive reporting and S OP readiness, compiling and translating insights for executive‑level forums; ensure data integrity and decision quality.
