Project Manager - Wastewater Engineering

What You’Ll Do

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead and manage wastewater solutions projects. You’ll also resolve scheduling, staffing and quality issues to deliver results on time and within budget. You’ll also: Design and develop wastewater treatment systems, collection systems, and related infrastructure.

Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports for municipal and industrial wastewater projects. Perform hydraulic modeling, process design, and system optimization. Apply expertise in anaerobic digestion of biosolids, including system design, evaluation, and optimization for treatment efficiency and energy recovery.

Support and guide projects involving biosolids management strategies, including anaerobic digestion processes, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices.

, priced proposals and contracts Quality control for assigned projects and clients Works on complex projects Prepares documents and reports Performs work that involves non-conventional planning What it takes Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar degree with appropriate experience. You should have 8 years of experience in engineering with 2+ years of Project Management experience. You should be a licensed Professional Engineer.

Ideally, you’ll also: Navigate Illinois Environmental Protection Agency regulations with ease. Have proven client relationship management skills. Be a smart worker and a team player.
