Title: Software QA Lead Location: Sweden, Stockholm (Hybrid work model) Job Function: Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Computer Network Security About the position The QA Lead is responsible for overseeing the QA strategy, planning and leading complex test projects to completion, coordinating efforts between the QA team and cross-functional team members, while ensuring that all testing is appropriate and aligned with project goals.
This role also involves providing guidance to the cross-functional team in software testing best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and evolve the QA strategy for your product area. In troduce and take ownership of quality and testing metrics for your product area. Ove rsee QA activities for major product features, ensuring appropriate and high-fidelity testing.
Coordinate testing efforts between QA team members and cross-functional teams. Provide guidance to QA team members in best practices and methodologies. Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases for critical features.
Collaborate with product and development teams to resolve complex defects. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools. Ensure that all QA activities are completed on schedule and meet quality benchmarks.
Introduce and take ownership of quality and testing metrics for your product area. Contribute to product testing and lead concerted test execution throughout the SDLC.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. Prior success in a software testing and/or test automation role. Strong analytical skills, deep understanding of testing methodologies, and excellent communication.
Ability to lead complex testing efforts by coordinating with cross-functional teams. Knowledgeable in industry trends in software testing. In-depth knowledge of QA processes, test automation, and software development methodologies.
Strong demonstrable experience in QA engineering. Fluency in English language, verbal and written.
