Join the Market Leader in Electric Power Data and Analytics Solutions The electrical grid is the largest and most complicated machine ever built. Yes Energy’s industry-leading electric power trading analytics software provides real-time visibility into the massive amount of data generated by the North American electrical grid daily. Our unique and innovative view of the data informs real-time trading decisions and mid-to-long-term investment decisions that keep utility prices low, support the energy transition, and keep the grid running.
It’s both challenging work and work with a purpose. Be a part of our successful, growing business during international transformation. Position Summary : Yes Energy’s products help power market analysts, traders, and asset managers understand the North American electric grid in real time — pricing, congestion, transmission, generation, and the complex data flows that drive decisions worth billions of dollars.
The Product Owner sits at the center of how we turn that data and customer insight into software that works. This role exists to ensure our engineering teams are always building the right things, in the right order, with enough clarity to execute. You will own the product backlog for one or more of Yes Energy’s product teams — managing a prioritized queue of work that reflects real customer needs, business strategy, and technical reality.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Designers, Support, Customer Success, and Sales. You will talk to customers directly. You will write user stories that engineers can act on and stakeholders can understand.
You will make tradeoff decisions every sprint and communicate those decisions clearly. The person who succeeds in this role is organized, curious, direct, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with complex data and demanding customers. Energy market experience is not required — but a genuine interest in learning it is.

Decompose epics into sprint-ready work without losing the business context behind each request. Agile Team Leadership: Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Keep the team focused, unblocked, and aligned on what matters most.
Serve as the product decision-maker within the Agile team. Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the bridge between Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and customers.
