Responsibilities
: Perform under general supervision all aspects of installation, alteration, demolition, maintenance and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, assemblies, and associated materials and equipment on all type of projects within the electrical construction industry.
• Perform the basic tasks of material handling, jobsite housekeeping, tool and equipment maintenance, and general labor. • Dig trenches and excavations by use of hand tools and power equipment under general supervision. • Assist in underground conduit installation.
• Assist in mounting, securing, and installing electrical raceways, fixtures, and systems. • Assist in wire pulling procedures. • Assemble pre-fabricated systems under general supervision.
• Perform all tasks in a timely manner. • Understand and follow jobsite directions and instructions, both written and verbal. • Models professional behavior in accordance with Stansell Electric's Core Values, Purpose, and Injury Free safety guidelines.
• Understand/Perform other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervision.

• Constantly moving about on the feet. • Completing a full day’s assignments involving one or more of the following; bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, reaching over head, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers. • Operating two handed tools/equipment such as cable cutters, hammer drills, and saws.
• Operating aerial personnel lifts. • Wearing all personal protective equipment at all times as required by the specific task; eye and face protection, steel toe leather work boots, hand protection, head protection, respirator, etc. • Climbing and working from all types of ladders; step ladders up to 14’, “A” frame ladders, and all size extension ladders.
Capable of carrying and relocating up to a 12’ step ladder by one’s self. • Operating company vehicles with manual or automatic transmission. • Working a 40 hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required.
• Personal weight including tool pouch, tools, nail bags, and tool belt must not exceed 300 lbs, weight limit of a class 1A ladder.
