Laborer - Heavy Civil

We are seeking motivated Heavy Civil Laborers to perform manual tasks including loading, unloading, heavy lifting, digging, operating heavy machinery, moving of materials, clean and prepare construction sites. · Assemble, connect, and construct pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. · Dig trenches, back fill excavations, compact and level earth to grade specifications using shovels, picks, rakes, compactors, back fill holes.

· Operate construction tools and equipment such as power tools, rollers, and skid loaders. · Flagging traffic near, around, and in work zones. · Assist with excavation, underground utilities, concrete work, and general site preparation duties.

· Must have reliable transportation to get to work. · Follow directions well and perform tasks accurately with attention to detail. · Communicates well verbally to convey information effectively.

· Skilled in using hand tools and operating mechanical equipment. · Must be able to climb on, off, and under various pieces of equipment, and physically access all parts of equipment. · Able to physically lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
