KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads all development, maintenance, and optimization of the MS Access front-end and AWS/MariaDB backend for the BOB Financial Database. Manages forms, queries, reporting tables, automation routines, and ODBC connectivity. Ensures reporting accuracy, daily data refresh processes, system performance tuning, and prompt error resolution.
Oversees version control, data integrity controls, user access management, and role-based permissions for ~70 system users. Supports multi-year financial data management spanning 5–6 years of historical plan data. Develops and documents database standards, user guides, and system procedures.
Provides direct user support, troubleshooting, and training as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of MS Access development experience with advanced expertise in MariaDB/MySQL. Proven experience in federal IT financial data systems and reporting automation. Strong SQL skills and demonstrated experience with ODBC database integration.
Experience managing multi-user database environments (50+ users). Familiarity with federal IT financial data management and related reporting workflows. Ability to manage concurrent database tasks including version control, data integrity, and performance tuning.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
30, and AWS cloud environments.
