Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team remotely (east coast candidates preferred). In this role, you will be responsible for preparing backup documentation, assisting Senior staff with invoice preparation and be a backup for AP processing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project accounting and billing, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist Senior Billers with pulling backup documentation for Cost Projects Prep manual invoice spreadsheets Assist AP with processing vendor invoices Maintain organized and accurate files and records for audit purposes and future reference. Handle other related tasks as necessary to support the finance team.

Required Qualifications
Education: College degree preferred. Experience in accounting. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy without sacrificing efficiency.
Solid communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal). Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills. Analytical thinking, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
Knowledge of Adobe software. Note: This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.
