EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM Location: 42 W 39th Street, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018 Job Type: Full Time, Onsite Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:15PM) Job Description: Velocity Architectural and Engineering Services is seeking a Program Manager who is a Professional Engineer to lead a project team and delivery for a large public agency contract. The Program Manager will be responsible for setting goals, developing project implementation strategies, policies, procedures to guide the project/program and mentor team members.
Responsibilities
: Build a collaborative work environment. Provides guidance, direction, and instruction to team members and colleagues.

Evaluate project financials, cash flow analyses, and cost estimates, as well as purchase orders, change orders, and invoices and implement actions to facilitate program compliance and the successful delivery of the program. Work with the MEP and architecture teams to forecast, identify and addresses areas of potential liabilities and risks.
Work with the team to develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules. Ensures that project objectives are met. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships.
Work with the team to manage conflict resolution.
Requirements
, risk, and/or complexity. Negotiate program scope changes, staffing assignments, and fees. Develop program organizational structures and implementation strategies.
Manage client relationship communication. Monitor design and construction activities to ensure that all phases of work are done in accordance with contractual agreements and corporate quality standards.
: Professional Engineer registration (PE) in NY is required. LEED accreditation is also a strong plus. At least 10 years of experience within a consulting or design-build firm, with significant exposure to program management (including project financials).
Experience with NYC public agency design project management is strongly preferred; experience with buildings in NYC is required. Demonstrated experience in managing concurrent complex projects.
