Mzla Technologies Corporation — San Carlos
As a Sustaining Equipment Engineer , you will be responsible for making continuous improvements to our automated production equipment for the manufacturing of electrical systems for electric vehicles. This will involve rapid, efficient responses to real-time issues, driving permanent resolutions and improvements in collaboration with our maintenance and operations staff, as well as driving continuous improvement of our preventative maintenance programs.
Responsibilities
Be the initial point of contact for equipment escalations Support the creation of PM procedures and documentation Support the launch and maintenance of the PM software Implementation and upkeep of the company-wide spare parts system Creation of equipment-specific critical spare parts lists Analyze equipment performance and identify opportunities for increased productivity Lead RCA activities and implement equipment-related corrective actions Audit and improve Maintenance Technician recovery procedures Design-to-implementation of equipment improvements that increase throughput or yield Along with supervisors, you will assist with training on how to safely operate equipment Comply with safety regulations and keep work areas clean and orderly Must be able to build a relationship with all team members Perform other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)
Experience/Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Manufacturing is preferred. Strength in SolidWorks is a must. Extensive experience working with hand tools and manual machinery Expert user in the Microsoft Suite Project management and/or strong organizational skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a group setting Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
