Your Impact As a Senior member of the TASER Electrical Engineering team, you will drive and engage in innovative hands-on design, development, and testing of cutting-edge electronics that are integral to Axon TASER Products.
Requirements
In this role, you will own substantial portions of circuit and subsystem designs, support system-level architecture decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional partners across product engineering, firmware, new product introduction, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the technical bar within the team while continuing to grow your own technical leadership capabilities. Using OrCAD Schematic tools, design embedded Mixed-Signal electronic circuitry that integrates high voltage power supply circuitry, microcontrollers, flashlight/indication/display circuitry and drivers, memory devices (FLASH/EEPROM), switch-mode and linear power supplies, batteries, data interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, USB), RF transceivers, electromechanical transducers, and other discrete digital and analog components Collaborate with PCB designers to guide layout implementation and review designs for signal integrity, power integrity, manufacturability, and reliability using Cadence layout tools Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, technology partners, and manufacturing teams to oversee electronics development throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to mass production Lead schematic and layout design inspections to improve the quality of design releases and product reliability Develop test methods and create test plans to evaluate and validate designs effectively Bring up, characterize, and debug systems and circuits using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, power supplies, hi-pot testers, etc.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline 6+ years of industry leading electronics design experience with e
