ABOUT THE TEAM

The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team is responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms . Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineers own the full development lifecycle , from concept generation, to integration and flight test, ensuring high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands of complex, contested environments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will contribute to the development of mass properties (weight, center of gravity (CG), & inertia) data for new air vehicle development.

Requirements

Provide vehicle and subsystem configuration trade study guidance Support vehicle and subsystem level weight and balance control efforts Estimate, calculate, measure, and verify weight, balance, and inertia of components, assemblies, and completed vehicles or systems Participate in developing and maintaining mass properties accounting systems Generate mass properties reports Author Weights and Balance Manual Participate in developing and implementing new processes and tools
