The Role: You will manage the assigned shift packaging operations and personnel.

for assigned shift packaging team. Perform additional job duties as assigned What you will need: Engineering or Business Management Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience/training. 2+ years Manufacturing environment preferably in packaging environment.
2+ years Personnel Administration. 1+ years Packaging or Project Engineer (preferred). Strong Leadership and Decision Making Skills.
Working Knowledge of Performance Metrics. Basic electrical or mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred. Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be proficient in using a computer. SAP experience. Ability to climb, bend and crouch.
Good Team Work skills, attention to detail, strict adherence to all trained procedures and embrace Safety and Quality awareness. Flexibility to work different shift or hours.

What You Will Do
: Insure the safe, efficient and effective utilization of packaging personnel, equipment and financial resources. Insure compliance with all FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality Assurance Standards. Evaluate current operations and provide suggestions for continuous improvement to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Evaluate, coach, and mentor assigned shift packaging staff. Identify, write and obtain approval for all required departmental Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions. Audit and update current SOP's and WI's as required by Company policy.
