We have an immediate opportunity for a highly skilled Algorithm Developer and State Estimation Engineer who is excited to apply their talents to our customers’ challenging needs and who will thrive in a collaborative environment. This position will generally support a combination of direct customer programs as well as internal research and development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in signal processing, sensor data fusion, and filtering techniques.

Experience with real-time embedded systems, C++/Python implementations, and Department of War (DoW) projects is highly desirable. Position is Hybrid – ~3 days a week onsite in Broomfield, CO (schedule may flex depending on customer needs). Infrequent travel to customer sites may be required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for various remote sensing applications, including kinematic tracking, data fusion.

S. Citizenship is required BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar relevant field 10+ years of experience with relevant application design and development Strong understanding of estimation theory, including ABG Filter, Kalman filter, Madgwick filter, Bayesian estimation Strong understanding of 6 DoF concepts and frame transformations Expertise in sensor fusion and multi-sensor integration techniques Ability to identify, research, and implement sensor data processing and tracking algorithms to meet customer needs.

Proficiency in Python Ability to clearly communicate with development team members via verbal and written methods.
