IT INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER, VIRTUALIZATION HARDWARE As an IT Infrastructure Engineer within the infrastructure team, you will collaborate with our various internal teams to find innovative solutions to SpaceX's growing infrastructure demands.

You will ensure the quality and reliability of systems throughout the hardware and software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

include implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems and infrastructure in an extremely fast paced and dynamic environment. You will join the team responsible for scaling and supporting SpaceX’s growing data center infrastructure, virtualization and Kubernetes environments. You should have strong opinions about how to design, test, and qualify all aspects of data center infrastructure, hardware platforms, and virtualization.

You should be familiar with industry standard hardware and software lifecycle and use best practices and keep in touch with internal and external business stakeholders to enhance products and services for the organization. Most importantly, you should be prepared to build SpaceX’s next generation of data center platforms.
