McNees Wallace Nurick LLC is seeking a detail-driven and organized Settlement Processor in Maryland to join Pine Street Land, a title company subsidiary.
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in guiding real estate transactions from title commitment through closing—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for all parties involved. What You’Ll Do
Manage settlement files from title commitment through closing with a high level of accuracy and timeliness Review title commitments to identify and resolve liens, encumbrances, and potential issues Prepare and review closing documents, including: Settlement statements Deeds Affidavits Corporate resolutions Loan documentation Finalize settlement statements, ensuring all title
Requirements
and conditions are satisfied Examine financial and legal documentation for completeness, compliance, and recording readiness Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed Maintain accurate transaction files and follow up on outstanding documentation Act as a key liaison between clients, lenders, banks, real estate agents, and attorneys to facilitate smooth closings Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and legal
Identify and escalate high-risk issues to protect transaction integrity and minimize errors What You Bring Minimum 3 years of experience handling real estate closings Strong knowledge of commercial and residential title commitments in Maryland High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office , especially Excel Experience with Qualia is a plus High school diploma or GED required #LI-REMOTE
