Job Summary: We are seeking an individual to join our Public Capital Markets division, which has a multifaceted mandate across thematic research/insights, institutional investor coverage, and IPO advisory.
Responsibilities
: A primary responsibility will be to create editorial content that covers a wide range of topics in the media, technology, and digital economy sectors.
include: Help maintain our processes, systems, and databases Support our IPO advisory efforts Interact and engage with clients, internal constituents, and senior management teams Participate in cross-product collaboration with banking advisory and merchant banking teams
Requirements
: Must enjoy writing and researching and must also have strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills Must have the ability to distill large amounts of information succinctly and be able to cut through the noise Must have a high level of attention to detail Must be able to meet deadlines (we publish on Friday nights) Must be entrepreneurial, a self-starter, and have a strong work ethic Must have a level of knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and the public markets Must have the ability to work effectively in a small team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important Experience
Qualifications
: Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field 2+ years of Sell-Side / Buy-Side Equity Research, financial journalism, or corporate role in the TMT sector Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including high level of proficiency in modeling Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills General technology skills Not required but a plus: Buyside relationships with TMT investors experience with investing Experience using FactSet and Bloomberg, and other data aggregation programs
