Editorial Producer, Digital Initiatives (Seasonal)

Major League Baseball is seeking a seasonal Part-Time Editorial Producer for partner league websites including MLB Draft League, Appalachian League, Cape Cod League, Arizona Fall League and others. The Part-Time Editorial Producer is responsible for creating content and maintaining websites as well as working with teams on posting content on their websites. Part-Time Editorial Producers work closely with partner representatives and writers to ensure that the sites provide users with the most relevant, informative and interesting content possible.

Responsibilities

Edit and produce content for use on partner websites Write headlines, captions, blurbs Select and crop photos Manage overall presentation, making judgments on story significance and arranging content Assist with the design, build and launch of MLB microsites, which includes sites for community, events and youth baseball initiatives Communicate with editorial and multimedia teams to ensure that all content is properly placed Opportunities to contribute writing may be available Position is night and weekend shifts
