Luminis Health Clinical Enterprise Title: Sr. Physician Recruiter Department: Physician Recruitment Reports To: Sr. Director, LHCE Administrative and Support Operations • MSO Services Cost Center/Job Code: 41000-50108-003040 FLSA Status: Exempt Position Objective: The Senior Physician Recruiter specialist who works to recruit qualified physicians and advance practitioner providers for medical staff.
The senior physician recruiter will oversee the screening, interviewing, processing of physician candidates, and hire physicians for healthcare organizations. It is expected this role will interact with all levels of leadership. Essential Job Duties: Manage the complete physician recruitment cycle, including job postings, phone screenings, and interviews.
Source and identify top-tier candidates nationwide to establish a high-quality talent pool of healthcare providers. Proactively identify strategic opportunities, proposing solutions for recruitment challenges and recommending strategies for new initiatives. Maintain accurate and well-organized candidate documentation to provide comprehensive reports to practice leadership and key stakeholders.
Cultivate a robust pipeline of eligible physician candidates for future vacancies. Coordinate candidate activities within the application tracking system and various recruitment platforms. Serve as a liaison for candidates throughout the contracting process.
Develop innovative recruitment programs, such as school partnerships, targeted advertising, and career fairs, to attract top talent. Supervise the orientation of new employees and provide comprehensive training to ensure proficiency in job functions. Manage organizational communications to ensure employees are informed about training events and resources, collaborating with management to enhance existing recruitment processes.
Requirements
: Bachelors degree required. Ten years of prior experience in provider recruitment. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively engage with physicians and business partners across all organizational levels.
Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively within a team. In-depth understanding of recruitment strategies and contracting methods.
Business acumen in areas such as marketing, finance, and human resources is essential. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills necessary for collaborating with diverse staff, including executive management and the Board of Directors. Required License/Certifications : N/A Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands: There is a reasonable expectation that employees in this position will NOT be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.
Physical Demands – Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
