The Opportunity The Law Offices of Samer Habbas Associates, PC is looking for a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our team in San Diego, CA.

The Ideal candidate will have completed their Paralegal certificate through an accredited program and have a minimum of 3 years of experience (4-5 years preferred). A successful Paralegal in our office will have the knowledge and skills necessary to assist attorneys as they prepare cases for trial, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial practice. This is a full-time, fully on-site role in our San Diego, CA office.

Requirements

Preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas, as well as correspondences and other documents necessary for case management Managing the discovery process, including preparing and responding to discovery requests, organizing and reviewing discovery documents, and coordinating and reviewing responses with clients Preparation and filing of legal documents with the court, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines, including electronic and physical filings.

Completion of accredited Paralegal program or Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies; Bachelor's in addition to Paralegal studies preferred 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in Personal Injury or Employment litigation Knowledge of California Civil Code of Procedure and California Rules of Court Exceptional writing and analytical capabilities (experienced in legal writing preferred but not required) Knowledge of calendaring
