Facilities Technician, {New York City Area} UOVO seeks a Facilities Technician to join its dynamic and growing team. The Facilities Technician is responsible for completing general work requests associated with the day to day maintenance of the facility under the supervision of the Facilities Engineer Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Facilities technician and have a strong technical knowledge as well as an understanding of workplace and personal safety on the job.

Requirements

, replacing guttering, parking lot repairs, repairing outside lighting, perimeter fence, landscaping, carpets, and painting in staff/client common areas Communicate with the wider business regarding any facilities-related work scheduled to take place that may impede operations. Perform daily walk-throughs of the facility to check mechanical, switch gear, fire pump rooms, roof drains, general building conditions, and report back any issues found General maintenance around the facility, including but not limited to replacing lightbulbs, fixing doors, painting, clearing roof drains, salting the perimeter of the building, and replacing batteries on hands free faucets. e.
